Contribution of Hotel Pools to Tourism - Serapool

1 Kempinski Hotel The Dome Belek When and how did your collaboration with Serapool start? As a landscape architect, what were the most striking and favorite points about Serapool's vision? I recognized the Serapool brand when I started my ambitious pool designs and that project was Kempinski The Dome Hotel, which I realized in 2004. Since that year, I have never missed Serapool and it o ers me many alternative materials for my pool designs. This allows for the unique works that emerge with our designs. In the Kempinski Hotel The Dome Belek design project, I designed a pool in the concept of Seljuk architecture in line with the concept of the hotel building. Seljuk architecture has a crown gate. I carried that crown gate to the pool and placed it on the ground in two dimensions. The trace of that gate, the broken block stones and the stone pavers that make up the gate inspired the border of our pool and its pattern. I made the application more di icult by moving the gingham, dark, light large checkers on the floor to the side walls. I needed a company that could do this project and bring the product in the right sense. The investor brought me together with Serapool. I told Serapool about my dream and design. They listened to me and said that this was a really di icult project and that they would try it. The project was completed with one hundred percent success, both by the implementing team and Serapool's e orts. It is a project that I enjoy every time I visit the hotel, every time I look at the pool, it is a project that takes me back to those days, it is very special to me. After that day, Serapool has a completely di erent place in my heart. We sat down with Serapool for new products for each of my new projects, and they listened very carefully to my challenging demands. They also invested in the product when necessary and this investment opened the horizon for many designers besides me. 10
