12 We had previously used ceramic products in our projects. We had various problems with the strength of ceramic products, cracking and dislocation from time to time. Then we learned the di erence between ceramic and porcelain. Porcelain is a whiter material that is fired at a higher temperature. Therefore, its strength is higher. In the pools we use, we do not experience any breakage and deformations due to water pressure, human use and cleaning. In addition, if the joint we use between them is epoxy joint, an absolutely clean and hygienically successful product is obtained. I have a dream and we have a meeting with the Serapool team. In that meeting, we talk about a project, and during that summer, work begins on new products. We follow the work closely. Afterwards, project-specific products emerge and these products customize the project. This process gives me incredible pleasure. The most important feature of a designer is to make a di erence. A designer who repeats himself is no longer a designer. He has moved to the merchant dimension. But if a designer doesn't even copy himself, if he doesn't repeat himself, he is a designer who is still walking on his path, still pursuing new dreams. If you were to compare ceramic tiles, glass mosaics and PVC-based materials selected as coating materials in reinforced concrete pools in terms of hygiene and functionality, what kind of evaluation would you make? At this point, how did Serapool add value to your projects? In my designs, feasibility, sustainability, quality, standards, functionality and aesthetics have always been my aim. Designed in 2003, the pool of the Royal Wings Hotel, which we continued its implementation for about a year, is incredibly large and has a lake e ect. Its concept is modern tropical. Our investor wanted a very large pool and I designed a swimming pool of 4,500 square meters. The design had a deepening e ect. In other words, a color design going from light to dark to give depth from the shore... At that time we didn't know Serapool, we only knew glass mosaic and we did that project with glass mosaic. But then the investor had problems in terms of operation. From time to time, the glass separated from its place. Materials were found to be used in the water to glue the glass, divers were used, etc. We renovated that project 20 years later. We revised especially the glass mosaic and laid the same pattern with Serapool products. Now there are no more problems. Serapool has been by my side with excitement in every project of mine since the day we met. It has signed its signature by turning my dreams into reality with its own products. Royal Wings Hotel
