48 The design of the Marin product in the Natural Series belongs to you. How did you come up with this design idea? Last year, a hotel for which we prepared landscape design projects was a little far from the sea. For this reason, I wanted the guests who would use the facility to feel the calmness, serenity and coolness e ect of that blue tone of the sea in the pool. When you sit on a pier and look at the sea, I dreamed of seeing that blue e ect created by the combination of the horizon line and the sea in the pool. Of course, this was not possible with a classic 5x5 cm sized product. Also, there were too many grout lines in this kind of product. At first we experimented, we changed the grout pattern in Piazza Cobalt on the porcelain tile that came to us. However, I couldn't get the e ect I wanted again. The e ect that I imagined was not the same as the e ect that could come out on the field. This time, we identified 9 di erent surfaces from the triangular blue tones in the product pattern and asked them to make a production by enlarging them to 33x66 cm. Serapool Porcelain did not break us and Marin emerged in the continuation of this process. Growing up in a city by the sea also played a role in the idea of Marin. Therefore, there is a passion between us and the sea. Marin literally means belonging to the sea. The Marin product was designed because of the sea e ect that emphasizes the calmness and depth of the blue tone. The fact that Serapool can make di erences in material production according to our demands and the emergence of a Marin product for me is a tremendous thing. It is proud for our country to support our special choices for the story of each project and to export to more than 100 countries.
